Range: Found worldwide in tropical and subtropical seas.
Dorado migrate north from Baja Ca Mexico to the southern California coast during warm water years.
They are a pelagic species living near the surface normally in small schools. Extremely fast growing, they can reach lengths of over four feet in little more than a year.
